The nursing position is responsible for completing and monitoring all medical requirements of the program. Merakey Adult Behavioral Health Services support individuals in attaining wellness and recovery through respectful, person-centered relationships and services. These services promote hope and empowerment to help individuals reach their full potential.

This candidate will be working in a Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR) facility with individuals with a mental illness. Earn up to $40.60/hour as an RN, $28.13/hour as an LPN. Merakey offers benefits tailored to support your unique work arrangements.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program and possess a valid PA Registered Nurse OR Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
1 year of psychiatric mental health paid or unpaid experience
Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles, and recovery driven service system
Valid Driver’s License
All Clearances required by OMHSAS regulations

Responsibilities

Complete and monitor all medical requirements of the program
Support individuals attaining wellness and recovery
Provide person-centered care in a Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR)
Work with individuals diagnosed with mental illness
Administer medications and monitor psychiatric treatment effects
Conduct health assessments and vital sign monitoring
Document medical observations and interventions
Collaborate on recovery-driven service plans
