We are seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join as an independent contractor. This role requires a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week, including at least 16 hours of in-person availability on Monday and Tuesday, with a combination of in-person and telehealth ambulatory work.

In this position you will establish and expand psychiatric services while working closely with counselors as part of an integrated care team. Onsite staff support is available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm alongside a community of therapy and counseling providers.

Requirements

Required Board License – PMHNP.
Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of availability per week.
Willingness to work more hours as needed.
Open to 1099 contract position.
Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and a self-starter.
Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
Two years relevant clinical health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to patients as scheduled.
Collaborate closely with the designated physician to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Manage the healthcare of patients with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and preservation of dignity and rights.
Prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient’s diagnoses, health history, and age.
Encourage positive health behaviors through education and counseling.
Apply standardized care guidelines in clinical practice.
Perform designated procedures and ensure compliance.
