We are looking for a registered Nurse to join our Ward team at Fulwood Hall Hospital in Preston. Working as part of the wider clinical team, you will provide a high standard of efficient, individualised patient care.

As a strong communicator with exceptional standards for customer service, you will adhere to all of Ramsay's policies and procedures to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes. You will be a strong advocate of the Ramsay Way and People Caring for People.

Requirements

Current NMC registration
Previous experience working within a surgical ward
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Flexible and positive attitude
A warm, considerate and empathetic character
Due to the contract being 12 month fixed term, we are unable to support newly qualified applications or preceptorships for this position

Responsibilities

Provide a high standard of efficient, individualised patient care as part of the wider clinical team
Adhere to all of Ramsay's policies and procedures to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for patients
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the clinical team, maintaining exceptional customer service standards
Work collaboratively within the ward team and independently when required to deliver safe, high-quality care
Act as a strong advocate for the Ramsay Way and the 'People Caring for People' philosophy
Support the pre-operative assessment and screening of patients prior to surgery
Maintain rigorous infection control standards, contributing to the hospital's 0% MRSA incidence
