Woodbury Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, seeks a dedicated Long Term Care Nurse Manager (RN or LPN). The community provides TCU and Long-Term Care for seniors and has supported Age Magnificently since 1979. This full-time role includes an on-call rotation.

The Nurse Manager holds overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services for residents. Daily work involves monitoring care quality through rounds and maintaining accountability for charting, medications, and treatments. The position also shares responsibility for clinical operations.

Woodbury Health Care Center is located next to Woodbury High School and forms part of a local non-profit. The Nurse Manager collaborates with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to support residents, families, and external care providers. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse or LPN.
  • Minimum of two years experience in long-term or acute care preferred.
  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Ability to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, families, and employees.
  • Advanced computer skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
  • Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
  • Assist with developing and implementing the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects resident needs.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to build relationships with families and care providers.
  • Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents.
