Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts
  • Minimum 1 year current Critical Care nursing experience
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • CCRN certification preferred
  • Membership in professional organizations recommended
  • Certification in a specialty area encouraged
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients in Medical Intensive Care Unit
  • Work collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment
  • Monitor and assess critically ill medical-surgical patients
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and vasoactive drips
  • Manage mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic support
  • Assist with invasive procedures and respond to emergencies
  • Communicate commitment to high quality performance per I CARE Standards
