About this role

The Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) providing comprehensive care for medically underserved individuals with mental health conditions and substance use disorders. In 2026, partnering with Cuyahoga County and the ADAMHS Board, it opens the Glick Recovery Campus (GRC), a 24/7 walk-in behavioral health urgent care and stabilization center. This facility offers safe alternatives to emergency rooms, jail, or streets.

As PMHNP at GRC, supervise nursing/medical care, respond to emergencies, and complete clinical documentation including H&Ps and progress notes. Available schedules include 12-hour days (7am-7:30pm), nights (7pm-7:30am), 8-hour shifts, and swing shifts. Onboarding begins July 2026 with opening in September.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary crisis team in behavioral health crisis services environment, including crisis receiving center, withdrawal management, and stabilization units. Make appropriate dispositions from designated reviews in compliance with regulations. Facilitate symptom stabilization, community resource connections, and reintegration.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from accredited School of Nursing
  • Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner training
  • Valid and unencumbered APRN license in the state of Ohio
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certificate
  • Current DEA registration
  • Current BLS
  • Acute psychiatric setting experience (preferred)
  • Training/experience in addiction treatment (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide nursing/medical care in compliance with regulations
  • Complete designated reviews and make appropriate dispositions
  • Respond to medical emergencies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary crisis team
  • Complete H&Ps, progress notes, and clinical documentation
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments in crisis settings
  • Manage medication for mental health and substance use stabilization
  • Facilitate involuntary commitment procedures as needed
