Nursing Technician

The Nursing Technician role is fast-paced, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills in a 13-bed Med Surg unit with overflow into ICU. Stroke Certified, we treat patients as our own family with accountability, honesty, compassion, and courage. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5 days, up to 1:6 nights.

Provide direct patient care under RN or Provider supervision, including taking vitals, checking blood sugar, wound care, bed bathing, toileting, ambulating, and catheterization. Act as safety attendant and assist with postmortem care as needed. Perform basic skills per department guidelines and ensure accurate documentation.
