Coordinate required resources for patient care delivery while on site. Problem-solve and expedite communications with other health care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide, delegate, and coordinate nursing care to meet holistic needs of designated patients.

Requirements

Minimum of 18 months current clinical experience required
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required unless candidate meets all factors for Exception A or Exception B
Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills required
Ability to instruct and collaborate with others required
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Experience leading/supervising a health care team preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate the required resources for patient care delivery
Problem-solve and expedite communications with other health care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic care needs of a designated group of patients
Ensure patient satisfaction and resolve issues in a timely manner
Coordinate, implement, and evaluate processes to meet the educational and competency needs of nursing team members through effective use of a variety of learning activities
Work nights from 1900-0700 including weekends and rotating holidays
