Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system providing care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. The Nurse Intern role provides a learning opportunity for students by acquiring basic clinical skills and advancing knowledge related to patient care. Performs a variety of delegated basic patient care services under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN). Responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living and maintaining an environment conducive to patient safety.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited registered nursing program
- Successfully completed at least one clinical semester of core curriculum
- Active American Heart Association CPR/BLS Healthcare Provider card
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Able to maintain flex requirements
- Completion of mandatory hospital orientation on June 4 and June 5, 2026
Responsibilities
- Acquire basic clinical skills and advance knowledge related to patient care
- Perform a variety of delegated basic patient care services under RN supervision
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Maintain an environment conducive to patient safety
- Support RNs in basic patient care tasks during clinical shifts
- Participate in patient safety and daily living support activities
