Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- Critical care nursing knowledge
- Proficiency in ventilator management
- Skills in hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to manage post-cardiac surgical patients
- Familiarity with vasoactive medications
- ACLS certification
Responsibilities
- Monitor hemodynamic status of post-cardiac surgery patients
- Manage mechanical ventilation and weaning protocols
- Titrate vasoactive infusions and sedatives
- Perform invasive monitoring including arterial lines and Swan-Ganz
- Assess and respond to arrhythmias in surgical ICU
- Coordinate with cardiac surgeons and intensivists for patient care
- Administer blood products and manage coagulopathy
