About this role
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is a network of outpatient mental health clinics offering comprehensive services in Florida. We provide Psychiatric Evaluations, Medication Management, Psychotherapy, Counseling, and Neuropsychological Testing via in-person and secure telehealth. Our team serves adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above with compassion and individualized care.
In this outpatient clinic role, provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and brief psychotherapeutic interventions for diverse mental health conditions. Administer Long-Acting Injectables infrequently when necessary. Deliver psychoeducation to patients and families on conditions and strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and licensed therapists. Work in a supportive environment focused on best possible treatment. Document services in compliance with company policies.

Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or one year as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plus three years as Nurse Practitioner in any specialty
- Board-certified to practice
- Active license in the State of Florida
- Work experience in an outpatient setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions
- Administer injections for Long-Acting Injectables (LAIs) when necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies
- Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development
