MindCare Solutions is a premier provider of behavioral health services, seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role involves conducting Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) and Inpatient (IP) consults, performing thorough psychiatric assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans including medication management and therapy options. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including the Collaborating Psychiatrist, Mental Health Professionals, and HUB Coordinators, to ensure top-tier psychiatric care.

Requirements
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in good standing
- Experience in acute and chronic child/adolescent psychiatric care
- Ability to conduct Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) and Inpatient (IP) consults
- Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to maintaining accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy options
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure top-tier psychiatric care for residents
- Prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessary
- Conduct daily rounds in one designated hospital, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication
- Respond promptly to consult requests from the Emergency Department and Inpatient units, offering expert psychiatric assessments and recommendations
- Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects
- Participate in one weekend shift per month and additional on-call shifts as needed, providing emergency psychiatric care and consultation
Benefits
