About this role
At Mindfully, our mission is to promote and provide comprehensive, convenient access to quality mental health care that is affordable, progressive, and personalized. We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as an independent contractor.
This flexible position offers a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week, with in-person availability for at least 16 hours per week including a mix of days with at least two afternoon or evening shifts. You will provide high-quality care to patients, prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies, and encourage positive health behaviors through education and counseling.
You will work closely with counselors as part of an integrated care team, with collaborating physician provided. Onsite staff support is available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, and you will be part of a great community of therapy and counseling providers onsite while connecting virtually with med management providers.

Requirements
- Required Board License – Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of availability per week.
- Willingness to work more hours as needed.
- Open to working as a 1099 independent contractor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients as scheduled.
- Collaborate closely with the designated physician to ensure effective patient outcomes.
- Maintain a professional and patient-centered approach at all times.
- Manage the healthcare of patients with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and preserve dignity and rights.
- Prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient’s diagnoses, health history, and age.
- Encourage positive health behaviors through education and counseling.
- Apply standardized care guidelines in clinical practice and perform designated procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
