Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking a compassionate LPN or RN to provide one-on-one pediatric home care in Bel Aire, KS. This role offers weekday overnight shifts, allowing you to deliver skilled nursing to children and young adults with complex medical needs in the comfort of their homes.

As a Private Duty Nurse, you will step away from crowded units and into a focused environment where your skills and presence truly matter. You will build genuine relationships with patients and become a trusted partner to their families, helping keep families together by supporting children as they grow and thrive at home.

This role offers consistent shift opportunities with full-time, part-time, and PRN options available. Nurses who work nights or weekends can choose between a $1,500 sign-on bonus or a premium hourly pay rate for those hours, and annual stay bonuses reward long-term commitment.

Requirements

  • Active LPN or RN license in Kansas
  • Pediatric experience is a plus but not required — training provided
  • A heart for patient-centered care
  • Ability to work weekday overnight shifts
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, honest, and patient care
  • Willingness to complete hands-on, specialized training for each patient's unique needs

Responsibilities

  • Deliver skilled nursing to pediatric and young adult patients with complex medical needs in their homes
  • Provide one-on-one private duty nursing care, building meaningful bonds with patients and families
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
  • Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team
  • Support families by helping children grow and thrive in a home environment
  • Complete accurate documentation of care provided
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient-centered, high-quality outcomes
