Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking a dedicated LPN or RN to provide private duty nursing for children and young adults in the Wichita area. This role offers a focused, one-on-one environment where you can make a meaningful impact on a single patient and their family.

As a Pediatric Home Health Nurse, you will deliver expert, specialized care to patients with complex medical needs in the comfort of their own homes. You will build deep, trusting relationships with your patients and their families, becoming a steady and reliable presence in their lives.

We offer flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts to match your lifestyle. Our team members who work nights or weekends can choose between a $1,500 sign-on bonus or a premium hourly pay rate for those hours.

Requirements

  • Current and active LPN or RN license in the state of Kansas
  • Pediatric experience is a plus but not required—we provide training for those with the passion
  • A genuine love for patient-centered care and a desire to make a visible impact
  • Ability to work independently in a home environment
  • Must be mission-driven and committed to providing compassionate care

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care for children and young adults with complex medical needs in a home setting
  • Focus on one patient at a time, delivering expert, specialized care in a private duty environment
  • Build genuine, one-on-one relationships with patients and become a trusted partner to their families
  • Help children thrive where they feel safest—at home
  • Work a PRN day schedule, providing care as needed
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage medical equipment as required
  • Collaborate with families and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
