Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
At least 1 year of previous nursing experience
Strong Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
Certifications in TNCC, CEN, ENPC, or TPEN preferred

Responsibilities

Independently assess patient conditions in the Peds Emergency Department
Rapidly arrange multidisciplinary care for pediatric patients
Identify challenges and comfort families during emergency care
Organize teams when every second counts in a high-acuity setting
Collaborate with paramedics, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Provide care in a designated 911 receiving hospital with Level I Trauma Center capabilities
