About this role
The role is based at the internationally renowned private Cromwell hospital in South Kensington, London. The Paediatric Outpatient Department sees an average of 80 patients a day across most specialties. The Paediatric ward has 11 beds for short-stay medical and surgical cases including orthopaedics, ENT, and urology.
Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering high standard holistic family centred care to children and their families. Provide the highest standard of nursing care through ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe and effective care.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised quality patient care in line with hospital policies, CQC requirements, and NMC standards. Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team, participate in team and ward meetings, and respect patients' rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
Supply and administer medication safely, assess patient adherence and understanding. Demonstrate personal professional development, maintain up-to-date clinical skills, and keep clear accurate records following NMC standards.
Requirements
- NMC Registration
- NMC Registered – Registered Children's Nurse
- Post registration experience
- Contribute to a high quality safe working environment in which patients receive a high standard of care
- Ability to work well both in a team and to use your own initiative
- Ability to maintain professional communication
- Ability to complete drug calculations
