As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will deliver personalized virtual care to clients with complex needs, including mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.

You will provide direct patient care including medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments. You will educate patients on medications, risks, and outcomes while working with support staff to ensure proper follow-up and communication.

Charlie Health offers a supportive virtual environment with a full-time Admissions and Assessment team so you can focus on client care. You will collaborate with Medical Directors and participate in treatment team meetings and case discussions to leverage expertise and develop new skills.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
  • Active DEA registration.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and a private workspace.
  • Clinical experience in psychiatric medication management and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mental health, substance use, and eating disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments.
  • Provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits, and reasonable outcome expectations.
  • Work with support staff to ensure proper patient communication and follow-up.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and case discussions.
  • Assist Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and patient consultations.
  • Ensure compliance with medical and clinical policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Medical Director.
