Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain).
- DEA license or willingness to obtain.
- Solid understanding of treatment protocols and drug interactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
- Genuine passion for patient-centered care.
- Master's degree in nursing (for NPs) or completion of an accredited physician assistant program (for PAs).
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality urgent care to patients within clinical guidelines and state regulations.
- Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to provide seamless, efficient care.
- Help patients avoid unnecessary ER visits by offering accessible, non-emergency medical treatment.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and lab work.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Texas state regulations and protocols.
- Document patient encounters thoroughly in the electronic health record system.
