The Hospice House Staff Nurse works nights and focuses on direct resident care. During rounds the nurse observes assesses documents and reports changes in condition while implementing individualized plans of care.
You will oversee Certified Nurse Aides ensure timely documentation and communicate status updates to each resident's point of contact. The role requires close coordination with physicians and adherence to Medicare regulations and facility policies.

Requirements
- Current State Registered Nurse License
- Current Driver's License reliable transportation and valid ongoing auto liability insurance
- Two years of experience as an RN preferred in a healthcare or clinical setting
Responsibilities
- Observe assess document and report resident conditions and changes during rounds
- Implement the individualized Plan of Care as directed
- Identify significant changes in resident condition and take necessary action per facility policies
- Oversee and monitor Certified Nurse Aides
- Complete Nursing Assessment for Physician Calls prior to contacting the physician
- Communicate with resident's point of contact regarding status updates or condition changes
- Provide training to other staff as needed and submit all documentation in a timely manner
