About this role
Responsible for providing Advanced Life Support (ALS) care as prescribed by Departmental and Hospital policies and procedures, as well as the New Jersey Department of Health Mobile Intensive Care Unit regulations. Administers advanced nursing care and support in both pre-hospital and interfacility settings. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Provides urgent and emergent care to critically ill or injured individuals of all ages in the pre-hospital and Specialty Care Transport environment. Employs critical thinking, clinical expertise, and decision-making in high-pressure situations. Ensures optimal patient care and safety during transport.

Requirements
- New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) certification
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) training
- Critical care nursing experience in high-pressure environments
- Proficiency in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Ability to manage critically ill or injured patients across all ages
