TexasMed, part of Community Care Partners, is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join their growing urgent care and occupational medicine team in San Antonio, TX. This role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and the chance to practice medicine with purpose in a well-established network that puts people first.
Providers deliver patient care on an outpatient basis, performing procedures typical of an urgent care setting, including physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Clinical responsibilities also include arranging referrals for specialties not offered in-house and maintaining accurate documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
- Ability to obtain DOT certification within 60 days of hire
- Ability to obtain DEA licensure
- Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in urgent care or occupational medicine preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on an outpatient basis, including procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
- Evaluate patients through physical examinations to establish diagnoses and proposed treatment plans
- Perform clinical procedures within scope and skill level for the patient's benefit
- Communicate diagnosis and treatment goals clearly to patients
- Arrange referral resources for medical specialties not provided by the organization
- Maintain accurate, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI)
- Perform occupational and telemedicine patient care, as well as non-patient facing duties such as lab and X-ray review
