As a provider, you will plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care for both adults and children, in cooperation with center physicians. Your day-to-day involves procedures like suturing and drainage of abscesses, reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs, and maintaining accurate patient records to facilitate care and reimbursement.
Our team prioritizes work-life balance with a flexible 3-day/12-hour week schedule and no overnight shifts. You will collaborate with a supportive network of physicians, regional medical directors, and clinical operations leaders who value your skills and dedication to patient satisfaction.

Requirements
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in Michigan
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Michigan
- Current DEA registration
- Must be DOT certified
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- BLS certification (can be provided if needed) and meets credentialing requirements set by WellStreet Urgent Care
Responsibilities
- Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management for patients of all ages
- Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction by adhering to service and courtesy standards
- Provide patient care in compliance with professional staff bylaws, rules, and center policies
- Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff
- Complete authenticated reports and maintain accurate, thorough medical records
- Ensure necessary documentation and communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement
- Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations
- Maintain certifications including BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS as required by the assigned area
