About this role
The University of Colorado College of Nursing is seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) for an open rank clinical faculty position (Instructor, Senior Instructor, or Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice). This 0.90 FTE ambulatory role provides well-woman, reproductive health, menopause, and gynecological care across the lifespan.
As a clinically based healthcare provider, you will deliver patient care at the CU College of Nursing Women's Health Faculty Practice on the Anschutz Medical Campus. The position combines direct clinical practice with an academic appointment within the College of Nursing, offering a unique blend of service and education.

Requirements
- National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC).
- Current Colorado RN and APRN licenses or eligibility to obtain.
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive learning and working environment.
- Ability to engage effectively with students, faculty, and staff of diverse backgrounds.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- DEA registration or eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive well-woman care including annual exams and preventive screenings.
- Deliver reproductive health services such as contraception counseling and sexually transmitted infection management.
- Manage menopause-related care and symptoms across the lifespan.
- Diagnose and treat a range of gynecological conditions in an ambulatory setting.
- Function as a clinically based healthcare provider within the CU College of Nursing Women's Health Faculty Practice.
- Engage in clinical teaching and mentor nurse practitioner students as part of the academic appointment.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and adhere to clinical practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals on the Anschutz Medical Campus.
