LMC Footcare is seeking a Footcare Nurse to work within a multidisciplinary clinic that includes Canada’s largest group of Medical Specialists. LMC Healthcare is Canada’s largest specialist care provider in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism with over 15 multi-disciplinary centres and 20 clinical research sites.
The Footcare Nurse will provide care and treatment to patients with simple to complex footcare concerns at the LMC Ottawa location. This independent contractor role allows flexibility to add days while delivering footcare both independently and as part of a clinical team.
You will join a team of clinicians and skilled multidisciplinary healthcare professionals. The environment supports professional growth through collaboration with specialists focused on transforming diabetes care and making it more accessible and patient-centric.

Requirements
- Current unrestricted registration with provincial or territorial nursing regulatory body
- Professional insurance coverage
- Certificate of completion in advanced footcare, diabetes education, wound care or IPAC
- Dedication to ongoing yearly continuing education
- Successful completion of a medical reprocessing course such as PHO or IPAC Canada is an asset
Responsibilities
- Provide footcare to patients with simple to complex footcare concerns
- Work independently as well as within a team to deliver footcare
- Maintain compliance with CAFCN National Competencies for Advanced Nursing Foot Care
- Follow IPAC Canada guidelines including point-of-use sterility of reprocessed instruments
- Adhere to privacy and confidentiality legislation and provincial nursing standards
