About this role
The Nurse Manager plays a key leadership role within nursing and clinical teams, overseeing daily clinical and operational functions for seamless patient care across the care continuum. This dynamic leader manages clinical excellence and operational performance while prioritizing patient care. Reporting to the Director of Patient Care Service, develop systems promoting high-quality, cost-effective, safe care.
Lead staff, drive clinical practice development, and manage patient care delivery while accountable for team performance, quality, safety, compliance, financials, throughput, and efficiency. Oversee clinical and operational workflows ensuring seamless patient integration and service efficiency. Execute financial and productivity initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, accountability, and mutual respect within inter-professional care teams. Provide education, coaching, and guidance to staff adhering to clinical standards and best practices. Manage and support a diverse workforce based on staffing needs and budget considerations.
Lead continuous quality improvement through data analysis, problem-solving, and KPI monitoring. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation, and organizational policies. Demonstrate leadership in challenging situations, adapting styles as needed to support staff well-being and professional growth.
Requirements
- RN licensure and ICU nursing background
- Leadership experience in managing clinical teams
- Knowledge of Magnet® model principles
- Ability to implement evidence-based practices for patient safety
- Proficiency in data analysis and KPI monitoring for quality improvement
- Skills in financial and productivity management in healthcare
- Experience with regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
