Baystate Health is seeking an RN for our Continuing Care Nursery. Provide compassionate care to our littlest patients in this specialized unit. The Davis Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baystate Children’s Hospital is the region’s only Level III NICU.

Infants transition to the Continuing Care Nursery for monitoring after graduating from the NICU. Work with a dedicated team available 24 hours a day to support these fragile patients. The multidisciplinary approach ensures comprehensive care for each infant.

Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification
Minimum 2 years of inpatient RN experience required
2 years of Mother/Baby or NICU experience preferred
Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to infants in the Continuing Care Nursery
Monitor infants after they graduate from the NICU
Collaborate with neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and respiratory therapists
Support patient care in a Level III NICU environment
Participate in shared governance for nursing resources and staffing
Engage in evidence-based practice projects and new equipment evaluation
