As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, provide advanced care to newborns in the UHAE Neonatology unit at BMC Berkeley Medical Center. Work a scheduled 20 weekly hours in an exempt position, managing high-risk neonates and performing specialized procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive neonatal care.

Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Neonatal NP focus
- National certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
- Current APRN license in West Virginia
- Current unrestricted RN license
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NICU nursing experience
- Ability to perform neonatal procedures such as intubations and lumbar punctures
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
- Perform neonatal assessments, diagnostics, and therapeutic procedures
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for high-risk infants
- Attend high-risk deliveries and participate in neonatal resuscitations
- Order and interpret laboratory, radiographic, and other diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary team on rounds
- Educate families on neonatal conditions and discharge planning
- Monitor and manage ventilatory support and other life-sustaining therapies
