Join our Nurseries Team at Mercy Hospital for Women to provide high-quality clinical care in Neonatal Intensive Care and Special Care Nursery. We are a public tertiary teaching hospital in Heidelberg, one of just five Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Victoria. Educational support is provided to assist you in this role.

Deliver exceptional care for premature babies and their families in a family-centered environment. Play an integral role in a motivated multi-disciplinary clinical team. Work your choice of shifts with a minimum of two shifts per month.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in NICU
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and problem solve
  • Compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management
  • Ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care for premature babies and their families
