Perform patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice and practice safe medication administration while assessing patient responses to medication. Participate in reviewing and implementing clinical pathways and care coordination for high-risk newborns. Deliver specialized care in a dynamic intensive care nursery environment with rotating day and night shifts.

Requirements

  • BSN Degree preferred
  • State Issued RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • NRP certification
  • 2 years recent intensive care nursery experience
  • Ability to work rotating day and night shifts

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice
  • Practice safe medication administration and assess patient responses to medication
  • Participate in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination
  • Provide specialized care to high-risk newborns in the intensive care nursery
  • Monitor vital signs and support neonatal respiratory needs
  • Administer IV therapies and nutritional support for infants
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary care plans for premature and critically ill neonates
