The Clinical Resource Nurse provides clinical expertise to nurses under the general supervision of the Program Team Manager. Demonstrates commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital. Assumes a leadership role in coordinating patient care within the health care team.
Ensures quality patient care outcomes in the Intensive Care Nursery Unit - NICU. Promotes an interprofessional patient-centered approach to care based on best practice. Collaborates to support nursing staff in a specialized neonatal environment.

Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years recent Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery experience
- Charge Nurse experience
- Current CRNM registration
- Successful completion and on-going renewal of Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
- Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred
