Join Mayo Clinic and practice at the top of your license in a fast paced, high impact oncology setting. We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hematology Oncology team. This unique position blends inpatient and acute ambulatory care.
You will evaluate and manage patients with acute oncology needs in the Immediate Care Clinic, rotating across Hematology Consult Service, Oncology Consult and Admission Service. Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics while prescribing medications and developing treatment plans. Provide education and support to patients and families using evidence-based care.
This full-time role is based in the hospital-based Immediate Care Clinic focused on urgent symptom management for cancer patients, open 7 days a week year-round. Join a small, experienced APP team that works closely together in a highly collaborative environment. Your voice matters and your expertise is valued with strong APP led practice and high autonomy.

Requirements
- 2+ years of APP experience in Hematology or Oncology
- Masters-prepared graduate of accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program with AZ RN and APRN license and ACNP certification
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification and AZ State Board of Medical Practice registration
- Active BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date
- DEA registration required
