About this role
The Nurse Manager plays a key leadership role within the nursing and clinical teams, overseeing daily clinical and operational functions to ensure seamless patient care across the care continuum. This role demands a dynamic leader managing clinical excellence and operational performance, with patient care as the top priority. Reporting to the Director of Patient Care Service supports high-quality, cost-effective, and safe care.
Lead staff, drive clinical practice development, and manage patient care delivery while accountable for team performance, quality, safety, compliance, financials, throughput, and operational efficiency. Oversee clinical and operational workflows for seamless patient integration and service efficiency. Execute financial and productivity initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, accountability, and mutual respect within inter-professional care teams. Provide education, coaching, and guidance to staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices. Manage and support a diverse workforce based on organizational goals, staffing needs, and budget considerations.
Lead continuous quality improvement efforts through data analysis, problem-solving, and monitoring key performance indicators. Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and reduce risk, aligned with the Magnet model. Ongoing mentorship, development, and leadership programs fuel your professional journey in a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- ICU nursing experience
- Leadership in clinical and operational management
- Knowledge of quality and safety initiatives in healthcare
- Familiarity with Magnet model principles
- Proficiency in data analysis and key performance indicators
- Understanding of financial and productivity metrics in patient care
- Ability to implement evidence-based practices for patient safety
