A leading acute care hospital in Sebring, Florida is seeking an experienced RN Manager for the Intensive Care Unit to lead clinical operations and support high-quality patient care in a critical care environment. This role oversees a 33-bed ICU with 8-bed overflow capacity. The position works closely with the Nursing Director to ensure operational excellence, patient safety, and team engagement.
The RN Manager coordinates daily operations of the 33-bed ICU and overflow unit while providing clinical and operational leadership for the nursing team. Responsibilities include monitoring staffing, patient flow, and departmental efficiency. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- 5+ years of Critical Care nursing experience in an acute care hospital
- 3+ years leadership experience as Charge Nurse, Clinical Coordinator, Administrative Supervisor, or Nurse Manager
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of hire
- Prior ICU leadership experience (preferred)
