About this role
Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Critical Care Nurses to support a lovely lady in Eastbourne who requires advanced clinical care following a spinal cord injury. This role involves managing complex needs such as tracheostomy and ventilator care, bowel management, suprapubic catheter care, and hoist transfers. You’ll deliver high-quality care with oversight from the Nurse Practitioner team.
You’ll monitor the patient’s condition, administer medications, and maintain accurate care records daily. Responsibilities include ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and assisting with hoist transfers. Ensure the care plan is followed while handling advanced clinical procedures.
Work alongside a supportive team to achieve the best outcomes for the client. Mentor HCAs and liaise with the clinical team and family for comprehensive care. Build a stable care model for the future in a collaborative environment.

Requirements
- Minimum 12 months in ICU/ITU or complex care
- Valid NMC registration
- Strong clinical abilities
- Strong mentoring abilities
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care

- Day Shift: approx. £33.84/hour weekdays, £40.60/hour weekends
- Night Shift: approx. £40.60/hour weekdays and weekends
- Travel expenses reimbursed at 25 pence per mile up to 200 miles, 30 pence per mile for longer journeys, capped at £40 per shift
